Dandelion Inspired Fabrics

Work on my community-themed quilt has stalled due to being unexpectedly stranded in Sydney for nearly three days with car troubles. Fortunately, I was able to stay with friends who live within walking distance of the VW service centre. Actually David is a former boyfriend from 20 years ago and I'm grateful that his wife and family warmly embrace me as part of their community. They headed off to New Zealand for Easter but left me with food, broadband and a stack of magazines where I found some interesting dandelion inspired fabrics made by "sustainable design" business Bird Textiles (look under Fabrics: Seed Polka).
