Working on the Felt Panels
This is a pile of 38 felt panels for displaying our quilts in Houston. Terry cut them and handed them over to me a couple of days ago. With the 3 that Deborah has, we are more than half way to having them ready for attaching the quilts.
I am so happy that I am able to help do this project. We are finally getting summer here in Portland. It was nice to sit in my cool basement studio and stitch.

I've heard fabric described as the "promise of joy" and that's what I see in this pile of black felt. Thank you Gerrie and Terry for assembling our exhibition.
I think you only have 28 panels, Gerrie, but regardless, we are chugging away on this project. I have the rest of the panels cut and ten of mine have the sleeves sewn. The quilts are rolling in and will soon be attached to all 72 panels.
cool post! thanks alot for sharing!
I loved all of the Orange series. You are so talented and amazing how they seem to make one beautiful display. I really am trying to make it to Houston. You have so much inspiration for me, Thank the Twelve! Looking forward to where you go next.
The felt panels have taken over my office. This morning my granddaughter (4 yrs) said, "why are there a HUNDRED little black blankets piled on my coloring table?"
I did not count, Terry! I thought you said you gave me 38! I just kept sewing until they were finished.
