Never met a gray I didn't like ;)

Y'all know how much I dig bright, clear colour and the more-the-merrier? Well, I also have a strong love for gray. I believe this colour is under-rated and under-utilised in quilts. It seems to terrify many quilters. You, my friends, are fearless quilters and I know that you will embrace the challenge of making a gray quilt!

Any gray will do - from ash, dove, cinder to graphite and charcoal; warm or cool. Feel free to add other colours but shall we try to keep it predominantly gray?

Ready...steady...GO!!!

Gerrie and I saw a beautiful all gray quilt by Cynthia Corbin today. I'll have a hard time not copying it!

We've certainly had plenty of gray around here for the last 6 months. Now that the sun is coming out gray in the studio should be more fun.

That is what I said, Nikki! I would rather have the gray in a quilt and not surrounding me. I will know if Terry copies that quilt!! It really was gorgeous!

Oh! What a fun challenge. This will definitely push me in a color direction I don't usually go. Hmmm... I'm thinking a whole cloth gray quilt called "Fog." (Just kidding.)
