Well I think I've finished my dandelion piece (unless I change my mind) and I'm wondering how we want to post this. My thinking is we should either wait until everyone is done or wait until Nov. 1st and post them at the same time. Any ideas?
I like the idea of everyone posting on the same day...but this time around for me it won't work as I'll be in Houston. Unless I could send my photo to someone to post for me. Or I could start my post and save it as a draft ahead of time and one of you could go in and re-date it and publish it?
Looking at my list of projects and sorting the priorities, I think I'm going to be an eleveth hour kinda girl, so posting on the 1st works for me. (I'm actually amazed that I've been squeezing in moments here and there to work on this -- I guess I'm inspired!)
I'm also travelling on the first of November (New Zealand here I come!) but I should have access to a computer or can do a draft post that Diane can activate. (BTW, thanks for amending the comments settings Diane - now this comment links directly to my current WordPress blog rather than my old blogspot.)
I should add that, even if we go with the "grand reveal" around the due date, I hope that won't stop us sharing work in progress glimpses along the way...
Maybe we could do the "reveal" within a period of several days (say, Oct. 30 - Nov. 1) or something so people away can post? Or I'd be happy to upload ones on the 1st if they're saved as drafts beforehand...

About Twelve by Twelve
We are twelve quilt artists who embarked on an art challenge together. We're from different places throughout the world and our artistic styles vary, but we share a love of art quilting and a desire to play, experiment, learn, and grow.
For four years (2007-2011), we each made a 12x12 inch quilted art piece on a designated theme or palette. See our Theme Series and our Colorplay series.
For the 2012 Series, we changed things a bit and made rectangular pieces, 20x12 inches with roughly 10 weeks between each challenge. As before, we had a designated theme for each challenge.
We shared our process, progress, and results on this blog. It remains a key record of our rich collaboration.
