What a trip this has been! I am both happy and a little sad to be announcing our last official challenge (at least for now).
I think we should leave them smiling! That is why I have chosen one of my favorite and, in my opinion, happiest colors—ORANGE!
I know there are people who have a hard time with orange. I have never understood that. But if you are one of them, this is your opportunity to get to know it better.
I want to see a strong, saturated orange ranging anywhere from cheddar to flame, but pure and unadulterated.
Use any colors you like with it. And, just to be clear, the colors below are NOT what this orange challenge about. I don't want to see peach or terra cotta or rust or any of those dull and wimpy, or earthy oranges. This challenge is about pure, straight-up, ORANGE!
For inspiration, here's the Google Image search page for orange.
I can't wait to see what we do with orange!

YES! I love orange.
I'm up for this challange, and I'm studying those pieces of fruit in the gogle search.
Perfect July and August Color!!!!! Thank You Terry. I may have to change my blog header to orange.
Those other colors are BROWN.
Wonderful choice!
As a California girl, I am certain that I can embrace orange -- sunshine, poppies and navels -- the stuff of my childhood!
Well your group has to delight at orange after doing gray! Sorry to hear you are closing up shop after this challenge. What a great ride it has been to watch!
I was thinking orange and hot pink, but Diane will probably go there!! LOL
Knock, knock! Who's there? Banana.
Banana who?

Orange who? Orange you glad I didn't say Banana?
Sorry...couldn't resist. With this in mind I am truly looking forward to seeing your challenge pieces for this vibrant happy colour. I am however very very sorry to hear this will be the last.
I am sad that this might be your last challenge, but also I know that it will not be the last we will see of twelve talented artists. I will still be watching you all. I have learnt so much from you all over the years.
Terry, this orange them of yours keeps taking me back to the rush party with the "Age of Aquarius" theme. Wasn't it mostly orange with splatters of pink? Or, was mind permanently warped?
Carla is right about our orange-themed sorority rush party so, SO many years ago! I remember I wore a bell-bottomed jumpsuit made from an orange and purple psychedelic print. I wish I had a photo!
