Oh -- with our new "community" theme, shall we try doing this as an "open" challenge, so that people can feel free to talk about what they're thinking and doing all along? We talked earlier about giving it a try this time and then seeing how it goes and whether it's helpful to share our thoughts and processes along the way.
I'd like to try this, but I'd suggest that maybe we share everything but the final, finished image -- which would still be revealed on March31/April 1?
Is that okay with you all?

I think it's a great idea and I think we will all learn from this. I googled thesaurus and came up with several words that are inspiring me, including identity, people, hut, home, clan, school, humanity, ethnic group, relic area, sisterhood, center. I tend to be a realist in my work, but maybe this time I can be a tiny bit abstract?
I think an open community would be perfect for the theme!
I'm willing to give it a try. Either reveal date is actually fine with me.
I'm willing to try, too. Sometimes my thoughts race a little too quickly to catch and write, but I'll have a go.
Yes I am all for this being an open one. I'll try and post my instinctive ideas later.
Sounds great to me.
Works for me. I am having a hard time so far getting much inspiration for "community", but I'll post about it when I do!
Works for me. Actually Mr C came up with an idea that I like. I asked im to brainstorm with what community conjures up.
THANK YOU for opening your process!! It's such a delight to watch each of you work out your ideas--and learn from you along the way.
