I found a few volcano fabrics in my boxes... I think I'm going to overdye some of them before doing anything else.The only little problem is that if I think of volcanoes, I think of Japan, Mount Fuji and Hokusai. But is it really a problem?

I don;t se a problem at all. If my volcano inspires thoughts of other volcanos, go with it! Besides, your Japanese versions are more in line with the natural asian influence in your work. I'm not surprised that Kilauea made you think of Hokusai.
