They're messin' with the good stuff

Bacon and chocolate? Oh my. And did you know there is lavender flavored chocolate?

Chocolate with pumpkin and sunflower seeds?

With rosemary? I love that herb, but I sure don't want it in my chocolate...

And then there are rosehips ... Wait, aren't those what you get after you eat too much chocolate?

I even found this -- curry flavored chocolate.

And chocolate that looks like sush!

Me, I'm a purist. Give me good, creamy milk chocolate and I'm happy.

I've had those Dagoba chocolates and they are as bad as you think they are! I'm allergic to dairy and will try any pure dark chocolate - only once in this instance!

Just internet shopping for photo -- visual consumption! (But I will do tasting research eventually, I'm sure!)

"Give me good, creamy milk chocolate and I'm happy." Now that brings up the ongoing question--Milk chocolate or dark chocolate? For me milk chocolate is too, too sweet. I'll take the dark chocolate please. The darker the better. A little bitter even.

Maybe they don't taste good, but they are interesting imagery. I'm having a hard time getting paste simply dark brown and a foil wrapper.

Oh I agree. Not so much on the flavors, but the design of the packaging is lovely!

I've been following the bacon/chocolate experimentation, and I just can't wrap my head around it. The concept is that most foods are made batter with the addition of chocolate, and what's left is made better with teh addition of bacon, therefore chocolate and bacon together should be the best taste ever. I suspect however, that there's a mutual exclusivity factor in there somewhere. ie: the better something tastes with chocolate, the less likely it will be improved by the addition of bacon, and vice verse. That said, bacon and chocolte should be like when magnets push away from each other.

As for other flavors, I really like raspberry and chocolate, and orange and chocolate.

And, as long as you're going to Cost Plus for Tim Tams, you NEEEEEEEED to pick up some Asbach Uralt chocolates (filled with brandy) while you're there if they've got them.

I've have tasted the curry chocolate from Phinney. You have got to really like curry to appreciate that chocolate bar. It was a bit too much for me! :-)
