What to do, what to do . . .

I'm really having a hard time coming up with just the right idea for this chair challenge. I have plenty of ideas, but just not the one that is singing to me. I wrote about the chair challenge on my blog today ( http://andsewitgoes.blogspot.com/2009/01/chairs.html ) and showed a photo of this chair.

It is my sewing chair. It was in my Dad's office for years and years and yet it seems like new as far as its condition. They don't make 'em like this anymore.

This is the problem with this challenge. Everytime I focus on a special chair I am off on a nostalgia trip instead of figuring out what to do. It just occurred to me that I feel so emotionally attached to my chairs because we have such an intimate relationship. I don't allow just anyone to fondle my butt, you know.

A comfy, practical chair like that one would be welcome in my sewing room any time (and not just for the butt fondling).

i have an idea. I see it in my mind. I want to start work, but the crappy virus and SDA conference computer work have taken over my life. I am about to head over to Mia's school to watch a play given by the 3rd graders. They are studying Portland this year and it is all about Portland history.
