Choco Latte

I love dark chocolate. And I love looking at fancy chocolates through a candy store display case. They all look so decadent and artistic and expensive.

I'm not a normal coffee drinker. I don't like just plain old coffee. I love lattes and especially mocha lattes. That brings me to my quilt. The word chocolate could have been chocolatte. Just missing one 't'.

The background and border on my quilt are fabric. The rest is painted. My first attempt was to try this in all fabric, but after a while I gave up and just pulled out the paints and brushes and went to town.

This is so charming. I love the mug. I love the chocolates on the plate. I love the flowers. And I love mocha lattes too.

This is very Terri!! Did you paint fabric? I am a little confused. The painting is delightful!

Paint is definitely a good friend to you! I adore the little black dots on the mug. The balance pleases me, too.

Yummy! We need to find you a "bicerin" -- it's more chocolate than coffee and would fit right in here. This reminds me of a delightful afternoon in a cafe with girlfriends. :-)

A perfect morning!!! How can you go wrong with a warm mocha in a beautiful mug served with chocolate truffles and some cheery flowers for company. (I did find out once--simply add children, white carpet and flat paint.)

I always love your creations. They are so filled with hope for a sunny day.

Oh, this is how I'd like my mid-afternoon break to be every day -- sunny flowers, a hot mocha in a charming mug, and a few truffles to nibble on. (All it needs is a good novel and I'd be PERFECTLY happy.) I think this is a great balance of using fabrics and your painted images, and of course your signature black and white.

I really admire you for all the painted images you do, they are always so right on target, and this piece is no exception
