PS: These are Portuguese Man o' War aka bluebottles. They have a nasty sting so I keep out of the water when they are around.

We saw these in South Korea, at first I thought they were plastic bags of some sort!
On a visit to Florida my daughter (age 4 then) picked one up..disaster!! Our big lake (michigan) never had these. Live and learn. But they truly are a beautiful color understand wanting to pick it up.
These guys float near Galveston in the Gulf....they are neat to watch but don't touch.......someone said that bleach takes the sting away but I really don't want to find that out the hard way.
What are those? They look like weird rat jellos.
