On Thursday I did my best yak impersonation and transported 30kg of quilts and demonstration supplies to Brisbane via bus, train and aeroplane. When Kirsty and I arrived at the exhibition centre, we were presented with a blank canvas:
Within in a short time, it looked much more colourful and inviting:
Each day at the Textile Art Festival (25-27 June), Kirsty and I are presenting floor talks about the project (10.30am and 2pm) and demonstrations of a range of techniques (9.30am, 12 noon and 3pm). It is a delight to share our work with textile and fibre enthusiasts.
