My goodness, when I chose the theme of "sweet" I had no clue how challenging it would be for me. To be honest though I have been rather busy with other things and have just, in the past few days, had time to really start thinking about "sweet".
I am happy to say that I have landed on an idea and I even have a rough sketch. Yay!
Onward I go!
But first I must go find something sweet.
Sugar cane makes me think of sugar beets, another source of sugar (especially in europe where giant piles of beets at the edge of a field signified the end of the growing season and the onset of winter. Now there's also the stevia plant, which looks a bit like mint to me and whose leaves taste like lemonade when chewed along with a lemon balm leaf.
ReplyDeleteSugar cane was the very first idea that popped into my head when the theme was announced. It fits right in with my Grass Series, and I even went to Far North Queensland (cane country)for further inspiration, but now I have other ideas...
