Interestingly, there's a book called "Shades of Grey", by Jasper Fforde. It's a story about a society in which rank is determined by which colours can be seen by individuals - most people have a partial colour-blindness.
How funny -- I've often noticed how, when quilters stand up at guild meetings and such to show their quilts, the colors of their clothes compliment the colors in their quilts. Brenda, you take that to a delightful extreme with color and pattern in an exuberant way!
