The French Connection

Maybe it's because chartreuse is such a quintessentially French word, and no doubt I am highly suggestible, but this colour reminds me of autumn in France. Here are some snaps from my holiday album:

  1. I'd love to know what the first photo is of. Grapes? Plums? I'm curious! :-)

  2. The first photo is candied fruit from a confiserie at Pont sur Loup. I thought the fruit was citrine but I couldn't find anything online that matched it. So if anyone knows, I'm curious too!

  3. Brilliant choices of chartreuse! The fruit maybe similar to our choko - but I also think it could be a citrus of some wild sort! PS I just LOVE your book! absolutely Love it! Jenny L., Brighton, Sth Australia
