Maybe it's because chartreuse is such a quintessentially French word, and no doubt I am highly suggestible, but this colour reminds me of autumn in France. Here are some snaps from my holiday album:
The first photo is candied fruit from a confiserie at Pont sur Loup. I thought the fruit was citrine but I couldn't find anything online that matched it. So if anyone knows, I'm curious too!
