Kristin may be almost finished but some of us are still at the beginning of the process. I tried some more shibori - this time with tied stones and buttons. It's batching now but I don't have high hopes...
It is beautiful as is but I can't wait to see what it looks like finished. Shibori is on my list and I can't wait to try out some methods. I saw some of the all plastic clips you spotlighted at my local craft store that is going out of business and have been thinking about them ever since. I wanted to wait until this week when the % off goes down. I'm very cheap like that. ;D
I too love this photo. It's lumpy and bumpy like some lava and the orange looks pretty hot. I'd be reluctant to untie it. :-) Even if it doesn't turn out as you envision, I'd love to see how it does turn out though.
Well that looks quite artful just like that!
ReplyDeleteLooks loaded with possibility to me!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Terri! Looks like a fiber sculpture. Very lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love it. Just leave it as is.

ReplyDeleteWhile I'm waiting with baited breath to see how it turns out I'm actually liking it the way it is :)
