Collage

I've been reading a bit about torn paper collage lately, and thought I would give it a try with the chair image. Hmmmm, needs some work

    By tearing, this piece makes me think of when I'm so worn out either physically or emotionally that I just want to collapse into the nearest chair and it doesn't matter how comfortable or what condition, I just want to sit down. I love it! Debby, NC

    Have you seen the recent Quilting Arts issue with the bird portrait on the front? That is pretty collage-y. I could see your chair collage moving in a similar direction with fabric.
